We’ve had a busy few days as granny and grandad came to stay just in case the baby came… But in vain. No baby. The big m is getting increasingly large and fed up.
So instead of playing with a new family member we’ve been going out for lovely walks and playing with the cats.
We even saw some Morris Men. I wasn’t sure about them!
Here we are hiding from the big m and d
Millie and I enjoying a game of chase the feather.
We’re still waiting for the baby but granny and grandad have had to leave to go and see the Flying Scotsman, so we’ll see them again next weekend.
…my new baby brother, who I’ll meet properly in approximately 20 weeks and 1 day. He clearly gets the thumbs up from me…
Today I channelled my inner Donald Trump (no hair jokes please) and visited the Bank of England’s museum. It’s awesome – I held a real bar of gold which in today’s financial climate is worth over £300,000. Sadly it didn’t fit in my money box so I had to leave it where it was.
I also cracked a safe by answering some questions about money. The right answers gave me the combination. Look here I am spinning the dial!
The prize for opening the safe was a pin badge of a bar of gold which I’ve given to my teddy bear Frank Orsen (picture at top)
The museum was very accommodating. Not only was admission free, but they allowed me to park my buggy behind the desk allowing me to enjoy the exhibition in my sling. Definitely recommend a visit!
