Basket case

Many people (my gran-gran included) hate food shopping. But not I, I love it. I am also very good at it. Here I am with my basket perusing the vegetables, vital for my 5-a-day.

I’ll have the kids menu, please

Today was a momentous occasion – I had my first real restaurant meal. Ordering from the menu and everything!

We were in Pho, a vietnamese restaurant (the Soho branch) and I decided I’d had enough of Ella’s sludge and wanted something a bit more edible and real food like. I therefore ordered the vegetable rice. Admittedly I think more made it onto the floor than potentially in my mouth, but nonetheless I felt like a proper grown up. I was also in a proper grown up seat, with a booster chair, which was better than being in a high chair. In addition to the rice I ordered some prawn crackers, which are my absolute favourite food. Needless to say none of them made it onto the floor!

I’ll be eating sushi with the best of them soon – just watch me!
